What Irons Does Tiger Woods Use
Tiger Woods What's In The Bag?
Five-time winner of The Masters (opens in new tab), Tiger's playing resume requires little fourth dimension here so lets get straight into his social club setup. Woods doesn't change his equipment very often, especially when information technology comes to his irons and wedges, but has now found a relatively consistent setup as a TaylorMade staffer two years afterwards Nike stopped making equipment.
Tiger Woods What's in the Purse?
Driver
TaylorMade Stealth Plus
The 15-time major winner did accept a TaylorMade SIM driver in the handbag just at the 2021 PNC Championship, he put in the new TaylorMade Stealth Plus driver (opens in new tab). It has a Mitsubishi Diamana shaft and has 8.25 degrees of loft. The Stealth Plus is the model in the TaylorMade range designed for the fastest swingers and most consistent ball-strikers.
In our review, in the same loft and shaft ready, the Stealth Plus was the lowest launching and spinning of the three heads. For the states, it was also the longest, producing outstanding ball speed, carry and total distance performance. We as well enjoyed the looks considering the stealthy, matt black crown creates a classic compact shape down behind the ball, and you lot can barely come across the red face at address.

Fairways
TaylorMade SIM Ti, TaylorMade M3
At the moment Tiger'southward fairway wood setup appears to accept changed considerably. He had put the new Stealth Plus in the bag as his three-forest withal it now looks like he has gone back to his TaylorMade SIM Ti model. He was also carrying a SIM Ti v-wood simply he has gone dorsum to the M3 model instead. They take 13.5 and 19 degrees of loft and both are fitted with Mitsubishi Diamana shafts. The M3 is the club that occasionally comes out of the setup for a longer iron, for example he removed the society for a P770 two-fe during the 2022 PGA Championship.
Irons
TaylorMade P770, TaylorMade P7TW
As we mentioned above, Woods has occasionally put a couple of longer irons in the bag. At the 2022 PGA Championship he put a P770 two and three-fe in the pocketbook, replacing his M3 fairway wood, and his P7TW iii-fe.
Interestingly back in 2019, Tiger shifted from the TW Phase 1 bladed irons to the P7TW Prototypes. These get from four-iron down to the pitching wedge. In a Golf game.com article virtually the irons it said; "Woods has the tungsten positioned in each club to produce a specific combination of flight, feel and control he's come up to rely on over the years. One interesting nugget is that the CG in Forest' prepare actually progresses toeward in the short irons." The primary departure between the P7TW's and the P730'southward is the milled grind sole and it was the first iron time the company has used the same CNC milling procedure on something other than a wedge.
Wedges
TaylorMade MG3 TW Grind
The 15-time Major winner is very detail about his wedges as most of his game is based around experience. As such he unremarkably sticks with a model that works for him and right now he uses ii TaylorMade Milled Grind iii models which take 56 and sixty degrees of loft. He appears to be lacking a gap wedge merely his sand wedge may be stronger than the 56° it says or his Pow may exist a bear on weaker. The lack of gap wedge allows him more than options at the tiptop end of the purse, hence a set of irons from ii/3-PW.

Doodle
Scotty Cameron GSS Newport 2
Tiger's putter situation, later having inverse a few times over the years usually goes back to the same model - a Scotty Cameron GSS Newport two. His previous Newport 2 GSS putter, which he won all simply one of his 15 Majors with, is one of the world's nearly famous putters - an old backup he had made past Scotty Cameron in 2001 sold for $44,000 at auction.
Ball
Bridgestone Tour B XS
Tiger uses a Bridgestone Bout B XS paradigm golf game brawl afterward signing with the company in December 2016. Whilst we oasis't been able to test out his image, we have reviewed the retail version of the brawl and it performed well. It's fast off the face up and low spinning in the long game so you become excellent altitude and accurateness with a fast swing. It's soft, spinny and consistent in the short game and feels controlled with the putter. He really put the new prototype in at the tail-cease of 2021, maxim; "I've been working with Bridgestone's R&D team on an updated version of my ball since the 2019 Zozo Title. The procedure of perfecting this brawl has been really fun. I take tested the new Tour B prototypes at home, and I'm looking forward to putting them into play at the PNC Championship. This event is the perfect spot for me to take the paradigm testing to the next level."
Shoes
Finally Tiger had been using Nike golf shoes for many, many years but he turned up to the 2022 Masters tournament wearing FootJoy golf shoes. The model? He was wearing black and white pairs of the FootJoy Premiere Series Packard shoes but he has now switched again to the Tarlow model in the range. Information technology has the iconic cap-toe blueprint and yet has modern flourishes similar the sheepskin within the shoe and the spiked outsole which offers first-class grip and stability.
"I have very limited mobility now with the rods and plates and screws that are in my leg," he said at the time. "I needed something unlike, something that allowed me to be more stable. That'south what I've gone to."
